Two things:
1- I GOT TO PLAY MY NEW GUITAR AND SING WITH MY KIDS!!! Ohhh what an experience getting to play Bettie and sing and teach a class of kids to sing. I think it was that much more special because it was somewhat of an improptu sing-along-type sesh. The kids were super into it and we had a visitor from the grade two class who was just the cutest thing ever.
2- This one’s actually kindof funny. I was stared at for a good minute by a little girl in the hallway (not in my class; she’s probably in grade three) and at the end of it she goes “you’re pretty. How’d you get to be so pretty?” I wanted to burst out laughing, but instead had to be all profesh so I replied with a very adult-like answer. I don’t care to remember what I said, but the little girl was so cute. At first I thought she was spacing out because her eyes were glazed over and she wasn’t blinking, but then I realized she was captivated by my arresting beauty. Lol, kidding- don’t hate.
