This is the tenor/bass line of the gospel we’re singing for the Christmas service. We had our first rehearsal today, and to be honest I thought there would be three people- max. 15 people showed up. I was like HALLELUJAH, PRAISE THE LAWWWD! I was honestly genuinely surprised and shocked- yet again, at how faithful the Lord is. When you pray to him, and seek him for help, he provides. Simple as that. Oh how I forget so easily how faithful he is. It’s like Spiritual Alzheimers -_-
As we sang and rehearsed, I could see that the choir was truly enjoying singing. I felt so blessed as they worked until 11:30 learning the song from start to finish. I am so excited for the Christmas service, I think the joint congregation in Mississauga will truly feel blessed to hear the singers of the NHF gospel choir belt out the lyrics to an epic arrangement of He Is Wonderful and Israel Houghton’s Christmas Medley. Two more rehearsals until the Christmas service! (=
