It sucks when someone tells you they’ve liked you for five years and they’ve been too shy to tell you, scared to ruin the amazing thing you have going. In my case, we’re both glad he never told me, because, maybe it would’ve gotten awkward. Maybe we wouldn’t be such good friends if he had prematurely pushed the relationship. Now that we’ve both told each other about the other “significants” in our lives, it’s awesome to be sharing this long-held secret crush. It’s simultaneously exciting and a little sad. Because, one can’t help to think what if?
